I participated in the BMCC Graduate Honors Convocation, where administrators, faculty, students, and their families and friends gathered to celebrate outstanding student achievements and present departmental scholarship awards. Prior to the event, I met with faculty members to discuss and allocate scholarship awards to students. During the ceremony, I had the honor of presenting the Charles McGill Award for Academic Excellence in Music to our student, Temitope Idowu, who is continuing his studies at The New School on a full scholarship and returned to BMCC in Fall 2025 to serve as a Supplemental Instructor for the Jazz Ensemble.
