Under my direction, the BMCC Jazz Ensemble performed at the 2024 BMCC Gala held at the Perelman Performing Arts Center
In October 2024, I directed a BMCC Ensemble for performances at the BMCC Gala held at the Perelman Performing Arts Center. I prepared the students through three rehearsals, curated the repertoire for two performances, and coordinated all logistical details, including instrument setup and transportation. The eight participating students each received a $300 stipend. The BMCC Gala brings together alumni, faculty, students, and community leaders to celebrate the college’s achievements, raise funds for scholarships and academic programs, and honor individuals who have made significant contributions to BMCC.
